IGNEOS develops assessment methods for your sustainable projects

Why carry out a sustainability assessment?

Assessing the sustainability of your projects enables you to measure their impact on the environment, the economy and society, with the aim of :

  • Ensuring their long-term economic viability: identify the costs (investment, running costs) and economic benefits to guide the decision in terms of financial viability;
  • Promoting social impact: job creation, improved quality of life, diversity, inclusion of disadvantaged groups, etc;
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation: compliance with legislation, particularly in terms of CSR (CSRD, CSDDD, taxonomy, etc.);
  • Promoting innovation: assessing how innovation can generate benefits (new markets, competitive advantage, partnerships, cost reduction, etc.).

Evaluation can be carried out at the scale of entrepreneurial projects, regional projects, private-private or public-private partnership projects, or public policies.

The benefits for your company

  • The evaluation process has a strategic and managerial dimension:  it is part of an ambitious vision. It is a steering tool for moving forward in a VUCA context. The approach is a lever for ensuring the long-term viability of your sustainability projects.
  • The approach is pragmatic: It takes into account the reality and degree of maturity of the target.  It is concrete and operational.
  • The approach creates a virtuous circle: It enhances local expertise, partnerships and the ecosystem.
  • The approach encourages learning and continuous improvement.
  • The approach is a lever for the long-term viability of your sustainability projects.

Our methodological approach

⮚ 360° diagnosis of your projects

We draw up an assessment based on the contextual framework (background, facts) and internal/external elements, and develop a 360° diagnosis of the company through analysis, interviews and exchanges of views between stakeholders.

⮚ Design of public or private intervention processes (financial support, coaching, mentoring, etc.)

We co-develop public or private intervention processes (funding in various forms, coaching, mentoring). We offer support for :

  • Intervention strategy (vision, target audience, objectives, mobilisation of resources, areas of work, etc.)
  • Process conceptualisation (call for projects, etc.)
  • Evaluation and measurement tools (scorecards and multi-criteria analysis grids)
  • Setting up committees (scientific committees, juries, etc.)
  • The decision-making process

⮚ Creation of dashboards and multi-criteria analysis grids

Taking account of the strategy and objectives, we identify the metrics useful for evaluation and integrate them into tools that can be used directly by the customer (xls matrices, etc.).

Active participation in juries

We provide an external, independent view of projects that incorporate sustainability components -E, -S, -G

Target group :

  • Companies of all sizes in all sectors
  • Public authorities (administrations, public companies)

Duration : between 2 and 8 months, depending on the level of ambition and the company's internal means and resources.
